Chris and I went off to visit some of the towns below Boston this past weekend.
We met up just off 95 and traveled a little south, and walked around Avon (where there was a cool gazebo and a leave covered road, presumably with a school at the end), saw a wind turbine and flew kites on the beach in Hull. We saw a cool draw bridge too.
We learned that Hull is located in Plymouth County, and that it is a sprawling community with a thriving recreational programs, including a Children's Theater.
We learned that Braintree is a suburban community with a strong residential character located 10 miles south of Boston.
We learned that Brockton is known as the City of Champions and has James E Harrington serving as the mayor.
We learned that Avon has both the smallest land area and population of any community in the region.
